They should make an emergency appointment of someone to ring Umbro and ask for the winning stripes back That is all
Today (Friday) the Daily Fail is running an article which claims that Wes Hoolahan's contract talks with Norwich City have stalled, and citing several clubs including Sunderland and Aston Villa who are watching the situation. Here are the facts. Wes Hoolahan, who is 30, is contracted to Norwich until the summer of 2014, with an option of a further year at the club's discretion. Norwich do not engage in player contract negotiations at this stage of the season, nor midway through an existing contract. This whole fiction is the result of someone having column inches to fill, and who has fixed on Hoolahan purely because he has been picked for the ROI squad and has caught the eye for his recent performances. He was also accosted by Paul Lambert as he left the field last Saturday (probably to get a "Well done!" from his old manager for his inclusion in the ROI squad). Shearer for Saints according to the Mail? 'Nuff said!.
