Shearer?

If the text was from Shearer I might just listen, but it's pure speculation from a newspaper that has some space to fill. Would make no sense at all. Adkins has proved himself more than Shearer and is more of a Saints legend than Shearer ever was.
 
So GMI got a text from a policeman, who turned out to be Shearer, Shearer is working for the Daily Mail where he is also a sports editor as well as a policeman. Shearer is also investigating himself for match fixing as he is less of a saints legend than Le Tiss. If the text was from the Daily Mail GMI should ignore it, but if it was from Shearer he should listen, this is confusing as it has turned out they are the same person. GMI should not listen to any texts sent to his phone as by virtue of them being there, they are not true.

I have to admit I missed that link, final bit of the puzzle!

GMI is stirring anti-Adkins sentiment in order to get his arse into a job (it sucks being a policeman, sports editor and part-time TV pundit, not enough hours in the day).

There's even a clue in the name. GoMarchingIn....ToAJobAtSouthampton

I hope its true he can play upfront with Ricky all we need to do now is sort out our infamous back four
 
Everybody's got these rumours of Redknapp, Shearer, David Cameron, Napoleon, Obama or Chavez et al about to become Southampton manager completely wrong. I have heard it on good authority that it will be Maradona!!

Of course, I am spouting complete b****x!! Thought I'd enter the spirit of the occasion, though!
PS: What sane person indulges in reading the Mail other than for a good laugh???? Answers on a postcard please!!
