Always rated Long. Even when he was with Reading in the EPL and wasn't scoring that often, you could still see he was a quality player and he was only 20 or so at the time. He's improved massively since then and at £5m would be a hell of a signing. Right age, low wages too.

I'd agree, i was one of a few who was far from against us going for him.

he's 22, looks a big lad apparently he's strong and pretty quick, seen one of his goals and was class top corner from outside the box

costing us €400k am sure its a gamble we can afford, been looked at by Everton, West Ham, Wigan aswell as a number of other teams.

Everton and Wigan are usually pretty good at spotting talent, so that's a good sign for me.

22, so he should be pushing for games if he's good enough, i'll look forward to seeing him, see what he's got.
