Yes you do. In sports you always want a reason to get fired up for a game. Thats why you harp on what the score was last time, some challenge that they made on you, some quote they give about beating you. Its standard practice to purposefully get pissed over something. Its the kind of thing you look for anyway so this is just one you dont have to imagine.
 
If this is true (there is no evidence for anyone to say it is or isn't) and you've bid for a player you can't finance then that's seriously dirty dealing, expect huge punishment.

If he doesn't say much, they're telling the truth. If he flat out denies it and has a pop at WBA, then they are in the wrong.



How come it took them an entire day and a half to produce this statement?
 
I wondered where the money for the deal had appeared from and it now seems we didn't have it. It seemed too good to be true that we suddenly had 5 mil to splash around. I can't see West Brom making this up, there has to be some basis for it or they wouldn't risk the backlash.

the deal started on sunday .. it was not a rushed deal as some people believe .. ****ing joke from WBA to try this stunt .. unless to keep Long happy ??

We had about £3.5m left in the allotted budget. I'm pretty sure the Allams have more than £1.5m available if Brucey asked.

They have ****ing tens of millions ffs. Of course there is enough money.
