He's got a ton of pace though which is what we need.

There's a clear positive I can see, is that West Brom fans are ****ing pissed about this news. That can only be good? Twitter is swamped with people saying this would be good for us or cursing the fact he could join, even palace fan suggesting hijacking.
 
Shane long was linked to lazio and sevilla in past months by the way... don't think we should sniff at it. I would take him over Bendtner.

That's not right

126 games, 21 goals. 1 in 6 at best. he's had one good season, 23 goals in the championship. Not good enough.
 
He's got pace to burn....just what we need up top to compliment Graham & Sagbo..how much though?
 
My main impression of him is that he works very hard as well as getting in good positions. Would be happy with this, but interesting to hear the fee. West Brim paid nearly 5mil with extras on top (according to wiki anyway).

Come on now Sir. He has only had 66 games since he turned 20 years old. Are you really going to toss the years he was 18 and 19 in on that? He has a 1 in 4 since he turned 20 years old and some of those were coming off the bench. That is a good record.

The Bendtner to Palace deal had gone completely dead since he left the training ground. Could that still be happening?


Being mates with some of the squad only helps, especially when you've got around a dozen Irishmen! Thudd and Davies are good mates, and I bet that had a bit of influence towards him coming (not much though)

Yes, he's a poor PL player, average Championship. Not improving

Not sure what's happening to Bendtner, would be amazed if he didn't sign for anyone now! We might still be in it.

Absolutely agree with your second point. it's no surprise Brucey is trying to form bonds, I think that will give us a chance. Look at palace. they're signing random guys left right center. I predict a bad harmony around christmas.

Whereas I feel we are picking carefully all the elements to create a proper team.
