One of those I remember exactly where I was moments. On a beach in Newquay Cornwall, the news came on Radio 1.
People of a certain age remember alright Gessa. I was 13 and staying in a caravan park on the East coast in Wexford and heard the news on the radio, ironically while in the porta loo.
