Actually black lives do matter...

Don't know why you want it on this thread but hey ho.

I'm guessing because it is music related, given that the message is being painted on the wall of Gracelands, Elvis Preseley home, and I would suspect that Shaks would feel the same if the person in the image was painting LUFC in the same location. Sometimes the reaction to an issue is nothing to do with the cause or the message, but just the pure act of vandalism.

Or it's something that Elvis would have painted himself and/or approved of...

Guess we'll never know.

Just my opinion and I believe Elvis loved all people no matter their colour or creed.

Jammy the issue isnt so much the BLM message but maybe the dozen or so other messages that have been painted over dedications that fans of Elvis have left in his honour.

Whilst I won't disagree with your comment about what Elvis believed in or not, I am sure that he wouldnt be happy at someone defacing messages posted by his fans, and I have to admit that if someone did the same to Elland Road I would just be as unhappy, no matter what the cause those messages purported to support

Yeh you're right Aski.

It's like when the girl you love has your name tattooed on her arse and then later has it changed...

Although I always said as long as there's still the big 'O' in the middle we're cool :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I am a massive fan of graffiti, it's street art, I use montana spray for my work (not graffitti )
There is nothing better than the smell of a can of 94.
Graffiti a train, a motorway bridge or even a cop, but do not paint on personal property.

All lives matter, but not those scum bags for defacing an icons wall. Elvis came from the poorest of backgrounds and mixed with bl**ks, sang gospel, sang b**ck music, sounded like a b**ck singer and wasn't political at all. These ****s are clueless, just like the ****ers who sprayed the monuments depicting the bl**ks who fought in the civil war. Living up to the stereotypical dumb b**ck as some people think of them.<ok>

Well I can't speak for Elvis, but one thing is for sure he respected everyone. He'd never **** on the top of a Martin Luther statue and wrap a confed flag around the neck. <ok>

This isn't art though, it's pure vandalism and if I had my way I'd spray paint every b**ck panther tribute and civil rights statues if I could. Like I say Este these uneducated ****s have crossed the line and everyone should open their eyes and see that the blm are just a far left anarchist, anti w**te racist group.<ok> LL was right<ok>
