They were in the running for being included in this years Advent Calendar, but they just didn't have what it takes to progress to the next round and thus missed out on being included in the final 24
So I take it were getting a 'hot' advent calendar?

Was doing some research trying to identify a song for a friend in which they only remembered one line and that it featured in some teenage film of the early 60's that he can't remember the name of. Finally found that it was by a band called the Del Aires, however next recommended song was the original of this by Kip Tyler. So of course I instantly looked to see if anyone had done a cover and lo and behold

Thanks for the heads up to the Del Aires.

They featured in a film called The Horror of Party Beach, played 6 or 7 songs to the 30 year olds pretending to be teenagers dancing on the beach, whilst being killed by men wearing lobster suits. As you can tell just from that brief synopsis it's a classic 1964 film :) , but at least the Del Aires were the one redeeming feature

Yeah saw some of the other videos from the flick, might check it out and watch the whole thing, can't beat a dodgy b-movie.
