Setanta ? Any good ?

wonder if anyone can help. I'm busy putting together a package for satelite Tv at my new address. Austar it is which shows nearly every Newcastle game each weekend through the multiple choice option. However is setanta worth getting ? Do they show many games ? It's the only channel on that sports package so I could leave it ourt if it's no good. Thanks for any advice on this
 
If you've got the games on another channel then it's probably not worth getting. Dunno anything about the oz version but the UK one was a bit naff, then again SkySports is cack 99% of the time. Personally I'd consider it for only a few quid per month but nothing more.

Settanta means seventy in Italian,

Not a lot of people know that,

Except for italians and italian speakers like.
 
Only the UK part went bust, still broadcasts in Ireland and I watched one of the match day streaming links the other week which was Setanta, I would have thought the best thing to do was go direct to the service provider and ask what they do provide and look at links to website to see schedule of games etc.

Anyway I hail from Canada where Setanta sports is the best channel we can get in terms of catching British football.

It shows practically every premier league game each weekend, Carling cup matches, FA cup matches, Championship football(Especially when Newcastle were relegated :) ) Scottish League, Champions League, and then a whole toss of Rugby.

I was afraid all my beautiful Premier League was going to be taken away when Setanta got pants'd across the sea, but I guess it held onto all of its North American rights, and certainly has the monopoly in Canada stil.
