the way he treatred Ji vs MK Dons was disgraceful too

Bollocks mate, the only people who treated Ji badly that match was some of the fans. Maybe Paolo was naive to think the supporters would give him a boost by applauding his hard work and effort but the only people who were out of order that day was a large percentage of fans (for shame!)

Christ, Paolo showed faith and gave him a start in the next game. Think about it fella. The biggest problem with our club is the fans, been a problem for years. I won't blame Paolo for our disgusting shameful behaviour. Some fans are dragging our name into the mud.

Exactly. Paolo didn't jeer him or cheer ironically.

Sess just strikes me as the kind of player the manager needs to put him arm around and needs to feel loved, similar to what we have with Ben Arfa. A few seasons ago people were regularly comparing and contrasting the two and I'd say now that Arfa is the one player we need at Newastle as he's the difference between relegation fighting and mid-table.

I think Sess could have still been that for you guys though it sounds like he had lost some consistency. Just don't think Di Canio was keen to accomodate an ego in his team to rival his own. I actually like Di Canio and would love to see him do well but worry that he may always have to be in the limelight as the big "i am" at the club. Players need to be kept in check and cut down to size when they mess up and whilst that will be popular with most fans it surely isn't the correct way to manage any workforce. If I mess up at work, apologise and do my best to make it up then I'd be pretty pissed off if my manager then hauled me in front of the rest of the staff and tore strips off me - don't think that's being over-sensitive I think its just having a mature sense of self respect. Everyone makes mistakes, I think O'Shea is experienced and good enough to have deserved more than what he got.

You wont go down this year by the way, unlucky in the fixtures list as it will be an ugly first 10-15 games but once you are a few points out of the zone you'll be fine. You have enough good players and there are 35 games to go.

I loved him, thought he was talented, but he was too inconsistent to have a team set up around him. I think we'll go on to better without him.

I'm sick of hearing about grown men needing to be cuddled ...... just come here, do the ****ing job you're paid to do or **** off.

Jesus Christ, if any of my staff need a cuddle on top of what I'm paying them they can quit today.

Exactly, Quinny was saying about the he needs an arm round his shoulder and he wont get that with DiCanio last night.
I have seen PDC putting his arm around players and whispering sweet nothings in their lugs.
Or he may have been saying whilst giving them a Spock pinch, "You are off because you are ****e."

Being a builder if some hairy arsed bricklayer needed a cuddle I would have been more likely to nut him rather than cuddle him.
