So I reckon they (FPP + Dell) are not investing in SAFC, but SJD Leisure Ltd. SJD Leisure still owns 74% of Madrox which owns SAFC. Maybe also investing in Dragon PR Ltd and Arvesa Corp.

The 8 figure mark, so around £10m or anything up to around £99m (unlikely yet!). They seem to be using other companies to keep this deal and the transactions between FPP and the club more private. As a small companies accounts will have much less detail than SAFC's accounts. Hopefully it's the start of a full takeover. As it starts to work and the risk reduces, they'll put more money in (and pay more per share) and SD will get more money from them per share sold. This can only be positive news IMO but no doubt some will put a negative spin on it!

Below is taken from the Echo statement, does this mean the bridge, monorail and roof is still a possibility?

It will be used to boost the club’s recruitment and academy structures, as well as the Stadium of Light and other infrastructure
.

So they are 'investing' in the club... but not in a takeover/shares way? So a loan then?

I am retired accountant...so usually not too shabby as to understand deals.

But not sure if I can cotton onto this one.

Not that I saying funds are not required.. they most certainly are!

Is the other infrastructure the monorail

Yeah, there’s some very interesting choices of words going on.

However I get the impression some people will never be pleased

I'm thicker than a whale omelette, but I assume that an investment means that they wont be guaranteed their money back but instead get a share in the profits when we win the Champions League. Like they will lose their money if we end up slugging it out in the GM Vauxhall Conference.

Can you explain what the documents filed at Companies House are if that’s not too much trouble? I’ve never seen a statement of solvency before?

I have no idea what it means or who it works, but hopefully this is the start of an epic journey
