one that would normally play and certainly a vociferous one, not a Honeyman type. I'm also not keen on goalkeeper Captains
Who specifically? I'm interested because we had a chat about it on here a while ago and there wasn't much agreement. It's easy to say someone shouldn't be but not so easy to pick someone who fits the role and will play every game.
I've edited, I just don't think a Honeyman type. Someone who is vociferous, at the moment Lynch would get my vote. But there is no point in a having a softly spoken individual. The "someone who plays" was aimed at Leadbitter, but again he strikes me as a quiet type. I don't see anyone on that pitch cajoling, gesticulating, organising, berating, absolutely nothing just acceptance
Indeed, difficult especially when most of them put forward a weekly argument for being dropped.
I'd say if anyone Power is a natural leader and wouldn't be a bad shout, maybe Lynch too I haven't seen much of him in person but I'm going at the weekend and I'll get a better feel for his character.
I don't think Leadbitter was a bad choice for club captain, it's more of a symbolic role and he's an experienced and mature player who loves the club.
They'll probably tease it as being imminent, despite it not really being imminent at all.

Nothing mate. I've gone from a level of eager anticipation to a level of low expectation. The bottles in the fridge have gone from being celebratory to being viewed as sorrow drowning.
Nah we're all just wallowing in the latest batch of misery served up by SAFC.
