This is exactly how I'm guessing the deal will be. A gradual takeover. Everyone gains from our rise back up to PL.

I'm hoping they invest heavily in training kids from a young age and we'll have a whole team of local lads playing for Sunderland... and England!!

Nice dream, but
I think the best we can ever hope for is going to be 1 or 2 local lads. I just dont believe the hunger is out there anymore .
Scouts are mooching around all over the globe looking for talent hence asoro, kimpioka etc etc.
Scotland used to be a prolific 'breeding ground' especially for teams like man utd, but now...
Just look at celtic from the Lisbon lions to the Lagos lions.

His posts where he writes in an exaggerated comedic parody accent of how a toon supporter might ( but rarely does in reality ) speak is the most unfunny thing on rtg, but he and his unfunny mates ( eg London Mackem ) are in stitches at one another.

outside of a few hundred depressive half pint empty sort I don't think he ever lost it. most are just waiting to see what happens ..

Ive had to come into work today rather than skiving at home.

Not that I have achieved much at work whilst waiting for the news
