Let's hope THIS IS IT mate, and thats the cause of the buzz, rather than the fact we kept our first clean sheet last night :emoticon-0102-bigsm. I've heard a few people suggest that there'll be a few press leaks a couple of days before the announcement, and I would agree with that. Hopefully this BBC 'leak' is the start of that!

I'm all for hoping but hopefully you also saw the bottom line as you only quoted the first line

I'm at Darlo too, nearer the A66 and commute back up to Boldon. Glad I'm not the only one down here. Reckon this announcement will happen when I'm sat in traffic coming up to Testo's roundabout later.

Pay this man his money as it was oddbod given the exact same spelling mistakes such as billionares and posting style here and on RTG. It also looks like he's been banned now given it doesn't show his name in the auto populate when you type it in the username or try to tag him in a post.

I guess the mods let the trolls have their few attention seeking mins and then this! :emoticon-0140-rofl:

Aye it’s a canny trek!

Still, fingers crossed for tomorrow! Would be canny if there was a bit more news / rumours tonight about a pending announcement tomorrow and that will set everyone up perfectly for a big party at the match on Saturday!

It's the constant overusing of the word "fella" as well. I actually despise that word, I am an ex sapper, calling fellow sappers fella could often end with a punch in the nose, don't know why as it was often used in other regiments or corps, but frowned upon in the corp of Royal engineers.
