Interesting him mentioning how they played well against premier league teams because the pressure was off, which implies that they don't handle it so well against weaker league one teams because they're expected to win.
Probably a plus mark for the players because the quality is clearly there and a negative for the manager and coaches who haven't made them believe it.
This is all starting to leak out now and Saturdays match could be the one to be at. I'm making plans to be there myself.

Whilst I'm dreaming of glory days competing for cups and being competitive in the PL, I'm so excited for the promise of a properly run club with investment in the area. Just wish they would announce soon so I don't have the suspense waiting to hear their plans. (Also, if their ambition is for the top and they'll back us to that level, European nights at the stadium would be incredible.
Some people may remember how I'd posted the 'kick in the teeth' story that will eventually come out. It involves Newcastle United, Ashley and the Dell people. I described how, during the latter stages of last season there was a deal on the table to buy the club. The mysterious Sheikh appeared, to up the ante, and Dell walked. There's an article in the Chronicle that, within their bounds of the libel laws, confirms everything I've said. It's well worth a read and, when it breaks that Dell subsequently came to us, will cripple the Mags completely.

I'm not on the attack in the slightest, just overjoyed at the takeover, certain of my facts and not too worried about proving them. I don't feel inclined to jump when someone demands a link to be honest. People either believe me or not, it's of no concern.
