Barely 10 days ago he was asked about the takeover and said it was better than 50/50. Someone who suggested the takeover was off was told “don’t be so negative”

Now we’re reduced to hoping we might get some investment.

His language in tweets is the word investment, not takeover. Think that's a clue as to what is going on.

So takeover is indeed off but it's not completely off.

I could be wrong but I'm sure SD has never used the word Take over when talking about getting new investment

Look at it sensibly, the Sun broke a story it was off and all hell broke loose, his twitter has gone mental, the Americans will be noticing this and putting more pressure on. I know I would be.
