It does not make any difference to me regarding supporting the club.. I am Sunderland till' I die.. It would be nice to have some success before I get there though..
If it does fall through I don't think it will have anything to do with Donald, but the investors having second thoughts due to all the bad feeling and negativity around the place..
Fingers crossed it all goes through ok. Will be a bad atmosphere at the talk in if it doesn’t go through.

If it was off and the press had a whiff then the whole world would know. For Nixon to be saying it's minor, for me, pretty much says it's almost done and could well tie in with SD last week saying 2 weeks max. He would, or any reporter would love to be the first person to break any breaking news about the takeover!

I agree and like I said earlier I can’t honestly see pre arranging this talk in if there was any chance of it falling through.
If he cancels it he looses the fans on the back of it that’s not a risk he can take at this stage.

Although I agree smug, I just think it’s the genuine make up of a Sunderland fan after so many years of disappointment and several false dawns I can forgive people for ****ing themselves at every snippet of bad news.
I was just about to post the same, we are all just waiting for the swift kick in the knackers which always just seem to be around the corner
Some people also seem to thrive on the smallest bit of negative gossip or on a matchday, performance.

There's been a few over there claiming it's off who then scuttle away just as quick. Those, you, who actually have seen real tangible evidence that it's a goer stay to see it through. I know who I trust.
You can generally tell by scanning back through a posters message history as to their calibre and reliability, having done so for this latest person, I can safely say I have zero percent of concern.
My apologies, but it's not like he didn't give a time frame and 2 weeks was the highest number he said. So to me, it suggest 2 weeks max. If you interpret it differently then that's your prerogative
I'm erring on the optimistic side 
I'd hate to think that attitude make the Americans have second thoughts.
When this comes off we all need to grasp the chance with both hands ...
