Probably me too. I fell on snowdon once and smashed my mobile. It's soooook inconvenient breaking a phone and waiting for a replacement.

I also had this stupid idea last night where I thought i would take a city shirt for a picture at the finish line...went looking for the black out kit shirt the wife bought me (not that I agree with fat 40yr olds wearing sports kit...but had to have one as it's awesome). It was a Large and has never fit me and was still in the packaging.

Anyhow, given i have lost a couple of stone in preparation, I thought "now is the time big lad".....nope, still a fat **** and won't be taking it.

Gave it to the wife and said you may as well have it for PJs. It's never gonna happen.

1st time in Santander the place not the bank just got off the boat and like hull the way out takes you though the town. Stopped at the first set of traffic lights with a couple of other bikers and a rat as big as a cat casually wandered across the road in front of us. Welcome to sunny Spain.

Their football club's so laid back now - their club's nickname used to be "Rat Racing Santander"
