Self Identity: Who Are We?

Ok, there have been a few debates on certain threads about where we should be as a club, so I though why not put it to a vote with a poll.

Which set of positions do you expect the club to be naturally achieving on a regular basis and are dissatisfied if we fail to achieve them?

Too many options for me. 7th to 14th is where I think we are as a club in this era (not this season specifically).

Keep the top two, then I’d group 7th down to 11th as one, and just have one that says championship after the Prem ones.

Trouble is as it is now we’re relegation fodder. However I Don t believe we will stay they way!!

Yeah it's too hard to pick a single option as it's a range between them.

You could apply and a make a good case for most of those really...

It's not a question of how you see the current club set up, but how you see our identity considering our size and history.

In that case I would say personally that we're a lower top tier / upper second tier club with the occasional foray beyond in each direction.

I understand that and I voted on what I think. My other comments reflected my feelings at the moment on how we are presently doing.

The thing is with that, whilst I would generally go along with that, if you do that with other clubs then you would end up with more than the available places.

With smarter management and investment and an actual plan to be so, we could and should be in the 7th-14th bracket imo. However we have actively been told by the people with the 'plans' that we are a small club who should just be happy to survive. If that's all you aim for, thats the best you're going to get. With the current owners and management I'd put us in the 12th-20th bracket.

No I know......we are a premier club imo just a bloody poor one at the mo.

I took the vote to be about where I see us as a club rather than where we will be this season....I think we should be top half, but will only rarely be in the Europa places i.e. 7-10.
