Damn. I got the first goal time spot on at 14 mins (Wycombe Saturday) and just realised it's only the Plymouth game where it counts <doh>

Don’t worry Ron. 90 minutes per game, 46 games a season - you should get lucky again sometime in the next two years!

Actually, that’s not as encouraging as it sounded in my head……

Plym’s the cunning old stoat at this: always goes with 45 minutes so off if first goal isn’t until the second half, he’s in!

Firstly, lets call the register. I haven't seen anything from Ron and SMH missed the Tuesday game. I'm glad he did as at least means I'm not the only one on 1 point. That's the problem with continuing to put Argyle down to win.

Musty was top scorer on match results with 4 and also got a sneaky 3 points on the goal time by going into the second half and therefore beyond Plym's traditional 45 minutes.

That took him ahead of Lyndhurst in what is becoming a really good scrap at the top.

I have abandoned my former policy of never putting Argyle down to lose. This was based on some weird superstition that if ever I did, I'd be right. I've now replaced that with some weird superstition that if I do put Argyle down to lose, they won't. This is obviously equally baseless but is at least more consistent with the rather limited success in forecasting generally.

On this occasion, the fact that Wycombe have won 5 of their last 6 home games and drawn the other is a strong secondary consideration, although as I've mentioned before, Argyle have actually been quite decent away from home: won 3, lost 3, the 7th best record in the division. The problem is at home (Won 1, Drawn 1, Lost The Rest), which is most unusual, generally and for Argyle in particular.

Goal Time: 20 minutes

I'm desperately hanging on for a draw.....helped by an og....until Taloj returns......so sad.

Christ, I wouldn't vote for Farage if Hell froze over.

In fact, I wouldn't save him if he was drowning. To be fair, that's probably an empty threat as I almost certainly couldn't save any drownee. My body surfing days are long gone I fear.
