Was just watching one of his old films last pre James Bond, “hell drivers”. RIP Sean connery, great actor and the best bond character

To this day the best 007 movie, got to say though Craig pushes him close as the best but just falls short
Agree wholeheartedly. No one could replace Connery. Lazenby could have been as good but with one film we’ll never know. Moore, whilst adequate was precisely that. Dalton was too good an actor to play Bond. Brosnan never really was Bond, he just came across as an Irish actor who tried to talk with an American accent, everything that Bond wasn’t and Fleming never envisaged him to be. Craig in my opinion is the only one who gets the nod after Connery. I just wish he would stop bloody pouting. Watch the films, you’ll see what I mean.

My mother in law taught home every thing he knew about milk delivery, when he had his first job as a kid on her milk round in Edinburgh and her brother gave him a lift to the audition for the Bond role.

RIP

i was thinking that back in 1971 when he wanted to leave, Edward woodward should have replaced him, or Stanley baker, Roger was o k but too nice.

It would have been interesting to see Craig in more of the Fleming stories because Casino Royale is as good as any of them for me. Having said that I love Dr No and Goldfinger and Connery was the best Bond.
