If you got your head Kicked in by someone / some people who were pissed out of their skulls and just didn't like you , colour of your skin / Gay or straight / Team you support .


If you kicked someones head in beacuse they abused your child and the courts let them off with a suspended jail sentence .........


Sympathy for both the Victim in the first case & attacker in the second IMHO .


As has been said before NONE of us know the facts ........

Thankyou for your opinion. Thats all i was after, opinions for or against. There was no need for the standard first page of dismissive comments you get on this forum

Ah sorry i didnt see that. Thankyou for your opinions too. Although i dont see why theres no need for a thread like this. Obviously everyone is desparate to see Dan make a full recovery and i am one of them. If i had considered the wellbeing of the club before the wellbeing of dan then yes it would be innapropriate and disgusting.
 
I have to agree people.......not enough facts are known as to what happened in either case. I find it difficult to understand your reasoning..... frankimus....... on any conflict with Barnard. As both incidences were unconnected and not remotely similar. As for Barnard's particular incident you do not know enough of the circumstances, or of the aftermath feelings within the squad prior to the latest incident. So for me if there were likely to have been any conflict it would of already raised it's ugly head surely.......

You asked for our opinions, you have had many negative responses, does it not occur to you that the majority don't see a problem of the magnitude that that you are putting to it, for all we know Dan may have been involved in an altercation and as a result taken a tumble, bashing his head on the way down, the papers have sensationalised it a wee bit, they don't know any more than we do, let the experts make the decisions, if anyone is culpable then they should be taken to task, until that happens be patient, as for Barny, he hasn't been found guilty of anything either, again lots of speculation, but no actual proof, wait and see.
 
Saintdon13, it wasnt the responses that were suggesting there would be no problem that annoyed me, i wasnt saying that there would be a conflict or that there wouldnt, i was just putting it forward for discussion. Its the standard page of dismissive "this is a pointless thread" replies you get before anyone actually offers any form of serious reply. It just ruins this forum. And i know im not the only one to get p*ssed off with them

Agreed, and don't forget that the club have only recently extended Barnard's contract, so it doesn't look like there is any problem between him and the club, which there would be if there was any bad feeling about.

Frankimus

While I don't agree with your original post, I totally agree with your comments regarding what's happening to this forum. I have made my thoughts known to the mods over the way articles are descending into playground name calling and worse. I like this forum but it will soon die a death if it is not controlled better than it is.

As i've said before i have seen seabourne about plenty of times in town. Also been a nice guy easy to chat to never seemed big headed. He's either putting up a front or some ones made up sh*t about a footballer.
Wouldn't be the first time tbh. As for lee barnard the company he hangs round with when out dosn't help his case.
