Southampton fans are arrogant and think the entire universe revolves around them, ergo the 'south coast' in their mind consists of them and their local rivals. No other teams (Plymouth, Exeter, Torquay. etc) exists in the self-centered mind of the Southampton fan.

Is that why you spend so much time on the Saints board, asking for their advice ? Maybe you should tell them how much you despise them before asking, in future.

BTW ....good result for your lot yesterday. It was a laugh seeing you down in the basement, but we all knew it wouldn't/ shouldn't last. Good luck with the promotion push.

Wahey I've been waiting for this thread <diva>

We had a poor start but now SB3 has made this then I'm looking forward to our improvement!! ;)

Bless all the Pompey fans getting excited after 2 wins in the basement, you will get promoted this time though there's no excuses for failure, will you handle the pressure when it comes?

Just you lot worry about beating Reading in the League Cup so we can (maybe) renew proper rivalries :)

Let's hope this thread is as long running and as fulfilling as last season!! <whistle> <cheers>

We could do with a few more Arrogant and Offensive and rarely offended Scummers(and Mods) on here like last season's thread<laugh> , but I expect they still all have their heads of their arses after the weekend!<laugh>

How nice. It's a little bit early for the pantomime season, but I dare say this will be still running at Christmas. Having read some of the early contributions though, do I detect the same old chip on the same old shoulders?
Still, to show there's no hard feelings I will buy you a drink-
Saucer of milk, anyone?

As long as it's Cravendale skimmed milk that would be great, Channon <cheers>

Nice to see you on the blue side of Hampshire Channon, instead of in little Warsaw!<laugh>

Is that menopausal old bitch St.Brendy stiill a Mod on your board? I was thinking of asking Syd or someone if, as I am such a good boy now and never on the naughty step any more, if I can get back on your board to make some astute and learned observations about your club, team and supporters?<whistle> What do you think?:)

I don't think our start to the season has been too bad. 2 wins a draw and a loss. Hardly terrible.

Why do you still think that's an insult? Do you think that little of people from other countries and cultures?

I think you will need a new pair of pants Pie on your Avatar before Christmas!. I can't see yours staying as white as they are now!<laugh>

Not at all, but I went to Poland with England in the Euro's and quite an eye opener it was.. Having looked out the window on the train whilst passing through Scumland it looked strangely similar!<laugh> <laugh>

Only just outside the relegation zone by virtue of an alphabetical advantage over the Baggies.Yep, as you say not a bad start, I would have preferred you to be bottom of the pile. Still give it time<laugh> <laugh>

More ignorant xenophobia. Stay classy.

It's 2 games, you pillock. If there were 2 left, you might have a point, but right now ,as ever:

a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more: it is a tale
Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,
Signifying nothing.

Ii am sure in your heart of hearts you would love Chelsea and Manchester United to be with us at the bottom of the League, after all they both have teams full of foreigners and plastic fans, many of them living in and around our great cities of Portsmouth and Southampton.

Living here in Spain I am supporting any team that manages to beat Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid (they play ugly football), and Barcelona. In the PL we should cheer any team that beats Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs because there is nothing nicer than seeing the mighty humbled.
