See in the Sunday Times that we have stolen Martin Rigg from Man City to become technical director, set up scouting network, trim the squad and make sense of the contracts. He was with MH at both Blackburn and City. He was definitely poached - read earlier in the week that City were pissed off that he was going to 'another Premiership club'. I guess we are paying top dollar and note that he had a team of 20 at City.
Sounds like good news to me and another sign of long term commitment from the owners. Sorry I lack the intelligence and skill to provide link/ cut and paste from the iPad. Justin, any advice/ tutoring on this?
Having thought a little more about this, it now strikes me as massive news, a real statement of intent. We have pinched a top guy from the most free spending club in the world, got him to come to a relegation threatened club with poor facilities. Very convincing arguments as well as cash must be involved....

Best piece of news story maybe since the goons sold up. This is something I care deeply about and the only way forward if you want to become a succesfull club. Looking forward to reading more about it.
