Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • Yes

  • No

Results are only viewable after voting.
Mybe it's just the way I read it and if I'm wrong I do apologise but would not a "Yes" vote lead to Labour controlling all of Scotland for the rest of time?

That's what they thought would happen when they set up the Scottish parliament in the first place. Didn't work out too well for them.

Different circumstances, if you vote "Yes" then the SNP is redundant as it would have achieved its one and only objective, presumably it would then disappear?

I doubt it. Opinion polls still have them winning the next Scottish election, regardless of the indy result. Anyway, no party stays in power forever.

But, given an independent Scotland with the Tories standing for decency and lower taxes, Labour standing for pissing away your money and the Liberals standing for whatever it is they stand for, what would SNP be standing for?
