Do you really need some **** to tell you that Scotland has more space than Hong Kong?

Harking back? To when? Last week?

Mass poverty? Last week? Under Capitalism, people have never been as well off.

Poor health, as the AVERAGE life expectancy goes up and up and death rates go down and down

Strife in the workplace? Industrial action at an all time low, apart from the PUBLIC sector which, as per, is ruled by unions and an "entitled culture".

You really are a simplistic spastic with serious reality issues.

Slash the State, energise the free markets, watch as Scotland flourishes.

Or face to Nigel in 20 years with a big <sorry>

Aye, food banks are the new norm. Part of your city has a life expectancy lower than Sierra Leone. Millions of people in temporary, part-time and/or zero contract hour jobs with no ability to strike or to make it better.

You think this is acceptable. I think it's s**t and can and should be better.

Are ****s like Spurge endemic in Jockland.

Unrealistic visions of twee and thistles, sun always shines and Hamish and Scotty dog roam the glens catching grouse for tea with Margot and Margaret and wee Jock?

ECONOMIC REALITIES state that you MUST live within your means. The secret therefore is to attract growth businesses which will train its workforce and generate wealth and education. Not spend a windfall gained from a temporary commodity on benefits for spastics who are too lazy to better themselves.

The UK and the West will face these realities soon enough but their size economically should mean that they are better placed to weather such storms. Wee Scotland will be ****ed if it follows the same route.

And how many trillions in debt is the UK? Living within it's means eh?

Better vote Naw then. Apparently being trillions in debt while spending billions on Trident, cross rail for London etc. is living within your means according to this Rangers supporting Taig.

No foodbanks in Banbury, ST.

Can someone please let me know that the issue is with foodbanks? Whereas the State used to feed the poor and idle, now society donates to feed these people? What's the difference?

The difference is that since the expansion of the welfare state, charities and charitable organisations had been on a constant decline. Society is dying thanks to State intervention and we all know how competent the State is....

You're nothing but a spastic from Ayrshire with no kids and no care about what happens when you die. You're a selfish **** who should be thrown into jail and raped daily.

The UK is a dead horse and ****wits like you just want to keep flogging it. When was the last time the UK lived within it's means? The current government is borrowing more money than any previous government. Our credit rating is going nowhere but down and when interest rates rise you, me and every other **** on this Island is gonne be ****ed.

Time to say cheerio to the empire. Cast it adrift and watch from afar as it sinks without a trace. <laugh>

^^ Unable to read full post as beel takes over.^^

Here's the issue...

The UK government is being pillared by the left for cutting spending, they are doing so because we are "trillions in debt".

We are trillions in debt because we spend more on services, defence, govt, then we generate in taxes, also know as the deficit.

We spend BILLIONS each year on interest on the debt that has been generated nearly every year since the 60's.

Salmonds Socialist utopia promises to spend more on services than we already do, even though we are skint (Jockland has its own deficit, more than rUK or roughly the same depending on who you believe)... HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE WITHOUT GENERATING MORE DEBT.

In your own time, Donny.

The state's share of GDP rose from under 37 percent in 2000 to 44 percent in 2007 - it then jumped to 51 percent in 2010.

They grew the thing almost 50% in 10 years. Now a lot of poor bastards (Dan <whistle>) are going to be put out of a job, lose benefits, lose contracts, as they try to fix it.

I do love selective point scoring. They're cutting billions on certain things such as welfare while spending billions on vanity projects which will make a small number of people very, very rich (or I should say richer). And none of these vanity projects benefit Scotland.

I've told you before: if you want to ask Salmond how he's going to balance the books, ask him. Send him an email. Go along to a meeting he, Nicola Sturgeon or John Swinney are attending and ask. I've never claimed to be an economist and my main driving force behind Scotland becoming independent isn't about how much more money I'll have in my wallet.

Economics doesn't interest me as much as it does you and Mick. I doubt, from an economic perspective, it'll actually make much difference to me. I'm not voting Yes for myself. I'm doing it for other people as I believe Scotland would be a better country standing on its own two feet.

All I know is whichever economic model is in place we're going to get f**ed at some point in the future - the question you need to ask yourself is whether an independent Scotland with controls over it's own finances etc. is better placed to survive an economic slump than we would be if we're still part of the UK.

Whichever way you vote on September 18th it's a risk.
