Typical Nigels and Huns attempting to hold back Scotland from it's independent and progressive future by keeping us chained to a Tory government we didn't vote for. This is all down to their Protestant superiority complex and sectarian hatred.

How can you be an independent country if your central bank is based in another country

You can but you're either relying on another states goodwill when it comes to QE or setting interest rates, or you need to try and mirror the other states economy and how it performs so that when they set their interest rates, it doesn't have a huge effect on our economy.

Norway, is a perfectly fine argument or example of what could've been, but food banks? I just don't get the argument here. People's free benefits have been cut so they need to get free food from food banks? What's the difference?

No voters are not amused. I can understand why they can't grasp the randomness of independence but believing in biggest eyebrows @EU is a fannies errand.

Can't even understand why Salmond would attack Darlings credibility <laugh> I thought it was quite equal. Especially when you consider that the debate lasted 2 hours and not 5 minutes (Contrary to what some of the sheep say)

ps. Voting based on what team you support is strictly for downers.
pps. Biggest roar at the end wins the debate. So that makes Salmond is the new heavyweight champion.

I did watch the Rangers game Baz, but only to see how Stubbsy's first game went. I must admit to being quite impressed with Hibs, if they get a half decent striker in they will give Hearts a real challenge for the 1st Division title.

Rangers were quite ****e, my first view of the Wunderkind Lewis MacLeod and he was almost as anonymous as the rest of his teammates.

It's the real shame of the Rangers side that so many 'good' players regress under the management of McCoist.

We've basically got the nucleus of a semi decent SPL side, but absolutely no direction and it's been like that for 3 years now.

McLeod has bundles of talent, but it's wasted at Rangers. It would be beneficial for him to go to DU or to a team that is coached well.

3 at the back for Rangers did not work, Hibs kept getting the ball out wide and Rangers had no answers. Black was absolutely woeful as was Zaluskis, jury is still out on MacGregor I think but I don't think the combo of Miller and Boyd is going to work either as neither of them has any pace at all.

I thought Miller looked good, showed for the ball, ran the channels, basically played like Kenny Miller and what we've been missing since he left probably.

McLeod looked decent in spells but the long balls to Boyd nullified our midfield.

Black is ****e and should be nowhere near a Rangers jersey or any other team for that matter.

    Whit's aw this pish??

In case anyone missed it, phase two of "Operation Pump the Geeky Labour Activist" has swung into action.

Oh, and, Plan B - really frustrating that fat prick stuck to party politics and refused to budge from Plan A for the sake of attempting to bargain but even more disappointing that a badger looking gimp was able to get the whole thing to be on his own ground

    http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Resource/0041/00414366.pdf

Whit's the UK's plan B if we just go ahead and use the pound anyway?
    Sanctions?
    Square go?

Salmond ****ed it last night and Darling had a gaping open goal.

Get the bampots in for debates or, at least, if they're going to be serious, have Patrick Harvie speak for the Yes side.

People actually watched that ****e? <laugh>

The real debate's taking place in the pubs, workplaces etc., not on the telly with two suits. That's what the mainstream media fails to grasp.

I respectfully disagree - I think loads of people watched that last night and the audience included those who normally wouldn't watch political TV.

Their opinion will be informed by last night if they were undecided and Salmond made a **** of it.
