Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • Yes

  • No

Results are only viewable after voting.
What's the point in Independence if we're going to share the same currency? What's the point in Independence when the Bank of ENGLAND will govern interest rates, issue bonds, be in charge of further QE which could destabilise the currency?

Then Salmond's secret policy which he dare not mention to the socialists is that he's going to undercut the Nigels when it comes to Corporation Tax to tempt business' to Scotland, much like the Irish have done. How will the BoE or indeed, the rUK think of that?

FFS, if you're going independent, then use your own currency?

the main sticking point in my opinion m8

^^ this didn't happen ^^

I work in the East End of Glasgow and haven't seen one food bank ever.

This tweet is like most of the nameless and faceless s**t the Yesers use. Much like the MORI poll a few months ago, which was exclusively revealed in a newspater LETTERS PAGE from a supposed Ipsos MORI employee (the pollers), that showed the Yes shooting into the lead. You may recall ST w**king fisting himself into a fury at this 'cover-up' sanctioned by the UK government, but when challenged, MORI said that the woman in the paper who wrote the letter didn't work for them as she claimed and they had never heard of her.

Needless to say, not one poll since then has shown the Nationalists in the lead, indeed it seems their momentum has stalled as their only financial policy of - "but the oil!" doesn't resonate with most Jocks nor does this ridiculous notion that somehow Scots are fairer than the Nige's.

Erm I think you'll find the UK government admitted they had spent 60k on opinion polls from Ipsos MORI. They've since admitted spending tens of thousands more on secret polls. I'm not going to go back and look but I don't recall claiming that Yes had taken the lead in any of these polls.

Oooh, what about this ? Ooh , what about that .... what will nigel-land allow ? Can someone pleeease, pleeease tell me what Scotland will be like in 10 years time if I vote yes? Pretty please mister. ****ing ****ebags. The Future Is Unwritten. Have the balls to write your own .

That's what Joe said .

What about the Bank of England governing the interest rates?

They've produced a 600 page "White" paper (with racist undertones) and something like 2 pages are on the most important thing in any countries success or failure, the economy.

The SNP want Scots to vote Yes on a flight of fancy, a punt that everything will work out in the end. They hope to play on peoples sense of Nationalism, the measles of mankind as some would say, the constant playing of the "Westminster" card is another type of class-war aimed at bitter, chip on shoulder left wingers who blame the state for all their ills instead of taking responsibility for their own short-comings.

As part of the UK, Scots have voices in the G7, G20, the UN security council and a sizeable representation at the House of Commons, various governments and cabinets over the years, we're supposed to shun these benefits because of social justice, where the poor and stupid get more taxpayers money than they already get, because things are so bad up here (they are by no means perfect) but in the Scotia Utopia, oil will last forever, the shortbread mines will reopen and haggis will repopulate the hills and glens and Scotland will be a beacon of hope to all states the world over.

So, a quick straw poll of the people who actually are vocally for a yes vote.

ST - Fair enough, lives here and makes Salmond's bridies.
Mick - Irish, lives in IoM and sees Scotch independence as a vehicle too inflict beel on "the Huns"
Ceern - As above but lives in Belfast bedsit.
Rougébleeder - exiled Tim/Jock, lives in Aus, calls people concerned with their shared history and future as cowards.
VPD - Tim.

So, to summarise, all the Yes'rs are Tims and 60% don't live in Scotland and 20% of them are directly employed by Salmond.

Quail Surprise!
