Should Scotland be an Independent Country?

  • Yes

  • No

Results are only viewable after voting.
I'm still undecided...

Probably slightly in favour of no change to current set up ...

You can argue the semantics ... but both sides are avoiding setting out the full facts.

Very very true.

Once in a lifetime opportunity to mould your own country for yourselves and your future generations. Ruled by yourselves and not some chinless wonders in Whitehall.

It will be an absolute travesty if you guys vote NO.

^^^^

Accused Yes of telling lies. Couldn't produce one scrap of evidence to back up his claim.
See other reply...
You know I'm accurate and I'm not going to argue the toss over my comment.

Both sides are talking a lot of ****e at times...

Claims and counter claims.

I'm fed up of it all.

I can't see me being fussed over the result.

I'll continue as is...

Nothing to do with being cowardly tho...I don't see it that way.

Much will have to do with apathy...

Too much hassle!

Me, not fussed either way.

Do you think an independent Scotland could lead to a vote on ni future?

You're not accurate about anything. I've answered your questions. You're just making general comments that don't stand up to scrutiny. I asked you for an example of the Yes side telling a lie and you couldn't. So, I'll now ask you to provide me with an example of the Yes side "talking a lot of ****e".

Fair enough <ok>

It's ours as much as yours. Sources in the Treasury as well as inside the Tory government have already stated that a deal would be done so that Scotland would use sterling. England would suffer just as much as Scotland if no deal is done and Cameron isn't going to cut off his nose to spite his face.

Britain is yours as much as ours. The Union Flag is yours as much as ours. The Royal Family is yours as much as ours. You don't want to keep them, and I understand why, because you want your own identity.

But the pound is as British as any of those things. So why would you want to keep it?

It's all lies St, you ****s will be paying for independence for a million years.

They have their own identity.

Plenty of countries share currencies anyway, it's only notes and coins to buy stuff with.

Because it makes sense for both Scotland and rUK, especially in the short term. That way we keep our share of the debt but we get the advantage of a stable currency union. Look at it another way - if there was no currency union and Scotland went its own way with all that oil revenue etc. what do you think the effect would be on the pound? It's value would plummet overnight

As I said, the Tories or even Labour in the unlikely event they win next year are not going to **** up the economy out of spite.

They're not about to start an independent country and set up a new currency when they have every right to retain the one they're already using Jip! Anyway, I still think it's in what's left of UK's best interests for Scotland to keep it as ST's already said. Keeping it is likely to limit any serious turbulence and knock to confidence in the global markets.

Any Scot who doesnt vote for independence is a ****bag of the highest order.

And why the **** Natural Born Englanders who happen to live in Scotland for the moment are being allowed a say in this I`ll never know. Its like moving millions of Germans into Poland and then having a vote on rolling the tanks in again.
