Strathclyde was a welsh tribe that wandered north, hence the odd names in Cumbria and passion for sheep in west Yorkshire. Bizarrely, Leeds was named by the first settlers there, who were the Welsh Strathcldye.

Dunno what the **** that has to do with the jockanese, but thought I'd share. <ok> Carry on.

Strath is gaelic for Valley . The clyde is a river in Scotland . Strathclyde means valley of the clyde .

Hull means home of the mental .

The Clyde is a ****hole.

Just like Glasgow and the Central Belt of Scotchland.

Magine you being factually incorrect again dumbfuck . The clyde valley is a particularly beautiful part of Scotland especially round the falls of clyde where it also runs through a world heritage site .

The firth of clyde is classed as a site of outstanding natural beauty .

Wit a mushroom you are :cheesy:

My mate was in the Scottish Daily Mail. Some journo huckled him in the Foundry one midweek afternoon and offered to buy him a pint.

Asked him loads of questions about if he had a job and how he afforded the pub etc. They printed a 2 page article about dole scum and used my mate as the main focus of it. <laugh>
