Just lookes at them and see that every horse is covered for the place pot pool, must have been some very big money put down
The fact that over 96,000 tickets were on that first winner tells you how many syndicates must have tried their luck today.
What a dilemma if you were a syndicate with 2 running in the last - surely you'd be laying those 3 like crazy to guarantee a massive profit (funds permitting) ?
Wooley @ Chessington: Fell at the first mate - sorry to be the bearer of bad news (don't tell the missus!)
Cracking allways tricast in the 330 not what I wanted today but really fancied all three of my picks in that race ass covered
Scoop 6 not won, some poor bastard had Escape to Glory which traded 1.01 In Running on Betfair before losing.
Hope it's won soon - getting fed up of Saturday viewing virtually being one handicap after another - bookmakers no doubt love it and I guess it isn't going to go away. My biggest beef with the concept is the bonus part - I presume this will be rolled to the next bonus if the eventual winner fails to pick the bonus horse - this will mean the bonus will be considerably more than the 6 winner Jackpot next time. Can you imagine if you won the lottery prize of £2m by selecting the six winning numbers, and Camelot gave you your £400k prize and said, "if you want the other £1.6m, you will need to correctly select next week's first number drawn"?
To go up by such a large amount today means that over 1.5M tickets were sold as Tote take a 30% cut (might have gone down to 29% now) before its added to the Pool!!
