I like this Cabella. Has the skills and movement, combines it with hard work. Hopefully this is not just honeymoon enthusiasm. (HBA take note - not illegal to do both)

I'll tell you what- Rob Elliott gets a lot of stick for being a bit ****, but his distribution can be fantastic. Just did a massive throw to pick out Cabella in the LW position. He done loads of those in pre-season so far.

Mbiwa all over the shop again.......

Plenty of effort today from our lads. Another good work out and plenty of minutes spread about.

Sloppy at the end there, but a good performance today.

Let's not get carried away though. It was just a pre-season friendly yesterday so the same applies today. Looked a lot sharper today than yesterday - perhaps nothing more than an extra 90 mins out of the way after a 24000 mile round trip though.

From 4-0 to 3-1 in matter of minutes! Still a good display and we worked hard which is the main thing as fitness is king at this stage.

A 1000 times this. Yesterday's reaction by some people on this board was totally ludicrous. Though a lot of those posters have mysteriously disappeared today.

Remy Cabella MOTM? Surely Aarons deserves the honour.

Thats far too sensible an outlook. Yesterday we were getting relegated, Pardew was clueless. Today we will clearly win the league and Pardew is a genius. There is no inbetween in the world of Newcastle.

Cabella gets MOTM but clearly Aarons for me, head and shoulders above the rest.
