Much better performance.
Like people have stated, the anti Pardew brigade aren't spouting their nonsense. Not much has changed for me, poor yesterday, pleased today still think we're miles off of being relegated next season and have resigned myself to 8th, had hoped we'd better Everton but think Lukaku will make all the difference between the 2 clubs.
We're not going to be the best or most pleasing team in the league but certainly won't be the worst. No chance will we get relegated and when that's proved to be the case I wonder what some people will find to moan about

 

I said today was about Aarons. His coming of age and he delivered. His goal was flukey, but still you could say that about Cisses two against Cheslea.....

Overall a much better performance. I said earlier when watching malaga against the hammers that they where a good team. I think they would finish top 8 in the premier league easy. We aint played our best 11 in any game thus far this season. I have a good feeling we can maybe finish top 8-10 this season and I would take that right now!

The only goal for these friendlies should be fitness. It's an important stepping stone as we approach Man City. The fact that we may have found a potential first teamer in Aaron's and maybe Obertan's twin brother may end up being a bonus.

The onus is now on Pardew to get his tactics right for the season. Being honest I have little faith that will happen. Hope I'm wrong.

Thought Cabella goal today was excellent. Cool as a cucumber but what I liked most he doesn't showboat and plays with a brain. If we can sort our CB's out there may be a glimmer of hope for the season.
