The feeling's are running high again.
The team are sitting close to the edge.
Laudrup was hung out to dry by the 606 mob when his team were in 11th place.
Now,with the team in 13th,the monkeynuts are scared ****less. It's great to watch.
But don't shoot the messenger, guys,I only point out the obvious, and you can't handle the truth.
Rest assured, however, there is life after the P.L. Just pop up the road and ask the Cardiff boys. <laugh><laugh>

Looking at the table it's a must win game for me.No if no buts a must win.Point no good, defeat and look out.

If we were Newcastle, Sunderland or Villa with 3 or 4 points on the board you could view it as a 'must win' game. A point will take us back to 11th, a win to 9th or 10th (depending on Norwich I suppose).

I'm certainly looking for 3 points but 1 point would hardly be a disaster.

I am not panicking just want us to improve our results as I am sure everyone does. I like Ayew but his coming inside all the time means we lose out on crosses on the right, the right back whoever he is gets isolated, and with Siggy and Jonjo also in forward attacking midfield we get cramped for space. As for moving players from their normal position Tabanou has played in three different positions for his previous clubs but the one I remember best was the late, great Harry Griffiths being converted from a winger to a very successful left back.

I take on board your replies and comments. But,nothing will change my thoughts on this game,it is a must win game. And,in fear of repeating myself it's time for the midfielders to start scoring.
Get it right GM.
With Villa away next weekend and in the bottom 3 a scrap is guaranteed.
I have taken,as I posted,a 3-1 win for us.But,I think it's a bet from my heart not my head.
STID.

We never come back from international breaks with a win, Monk knows this, time maybe for him to address this, playing at home may help and with that in mind I'm going for a 2-1 win, Stoke will be the usual physical battle, but lets not lose to the miserable git Hughes please..........<ok>

PS: I'm not sure this is a must win game, but we do need to get back to winning ways in the next few fixtures or at least before the month is out.

I'm with 55282 on this one I'm afraid .A virtual " Fork in the road".No 3 points at home to Stoke could leave a banana skin at Villa Park with confidence sinking quickly.Whereas a win against Stoke and a more confident stand at Villa Park gets us right back on track facing Arsenal.Huge game tomorrow , massive imo.

Vetch - not quite yet the same. When we lost to West Ham we were 2pts above the relegation places (today we are 6pts clear - could be 4pts if Newcastle beat Norwich this afternoon), and that match was in February. That was our 24th match of the season, so far we have played only 8 - Stoke will be "only" our 9th.

We are at home and you should win your home games if you are going to be a top half team. This is a must win game as we cant afford to lose and really put ourselves in the relegation mix, If we lose this then we are not as good as some think and our early form was nothing more than luck and honeymoon form by our new players. Cut out the tika tacka and the backward passing and get the ball going forward more.......Lose this will tell us we have big problems and more than we think......

Tabanou, like most players, has to be patient. His chance will come and if he proves himself he'll get picked. Looking forward to the game tonight. :)

tabanou was bought for cover for Taylor, If Taylor is fit and proving himself in training then Tabs will have to do better to get the nod over Taylor so he has no complaints. He is getting well rewarded and try harder....
