Guys, just heard a few rumours that our beloved owner is very close to offering the job to Steve Bruce, in spite of recent reports claiming Pardew is safe. This is waiting for the Cup Final to take place so as not to destabilize the club - anything your side to suggest this is accurate??
 
It's probably the Pardew hating media putting pieces together. There's probably something behind it but I doubt it's going anywhere
 
Surely they'd be after a proper big name, for such a massive club, I mean, 10th, that's an insult to the Geordie Nation, howay man, mint and that.

That was my first reaction. Wasn't sure SB was the man to lead us back into the CL, which of course is the minimum any geordie expects...

As much as we love him, he isn't.

I'm not sure anyone is...but that's another discussion :p

Swapping Pards for Brucie would be fooked up, even for your owner, and even more for the PL.

They definitely have been. Werent they something like the first team ever to lose their first 3 games and still get through the group stages?

And doesnt that comment about being in the UCL 'the minimum any Geordie expects' sum the daft ****s up? I mean, i dont know if its a joke or not but the fact that they could say it NOT as a joke is the point.

Utter rubbish. Steve Bruce wont go and work for Mike Ashley. Only Alan Pardew and the desperate would.

Thanks for the reminder. I really am getting old. On saying that why would i need to remember about NUFC.
I think there's more chance of Poyet going to the Mags than Brucie.
