Mark Hughes wants two first teamers for each position apparently. There will be some very big bruised ego's around the place next season. For instance if we are playing two up front who gets left out? Cisse? Zamora? or Johnson? He will have no excuses next season and surely they now have a squad that can challenge for top eight! Personally I would like to see a quality centre half added. Taraabt will really shine next season, mark my words!
RV: Well, they certainly made me into a right old mess last season, survival by one point - to hell with that! So, hopefully, it won't be so messy this coming season! Interesting comment from Stick; there certainly will be some bruised egos around, for sure.............
I am looking to join the 100-1 club today and the horse I am hanging my hat on is OUZINKIE 3.50 Newbury. This isnt some flight of fantasy although I would agree it's that price for a reason but it's been on my ATR tracker since its first run at Windsor. I just know it's better than it has shown so far and maybe the soft ground it will encounter today will help. Fingers crossed and more hope than expectation!
Afternoon everyone - lovely british weather isn't it !!! Think old happy chops (Ryan Moore) should have a double from 2 of the first 3 races at Newmarket - 1.40 Sir John Hawkwood for his guvnor and Bonnie Brae in the 2.40 for David Elsworth - good luck fellas today.

Afternoon all- Good day of racing ahead Sir John Hawkwood in the 1st even tho he is on the drift slightly!
Poxy Stoute horses are still in terrible form this year - don't know what's wrong the stable ??? Fav was beaten 3 out !!!
Birdman e/w in the next at Newmarket. Won going away on heavy over 6 lto, giving away weight to two maiden winners. With that form he has to be worth a few bob even if this is a massive step up in class.
Just back from the shop - stocked up on beer. Watched replay of Sir John Hawkwood - never went a yard on that ground surprised Stoute let him run as he usually pulls them out on bad ground.
Really like the look of Artigiano having watched the replays. 6/1 is a very good price. Didn't pick him in the comp mind - that was before I studied
