Good luck to him - he's been treated like ****e by Chelsea's players and fans. They finished third in a league with two ridiculously better teams.

He'll probably get a least a little bit more respect in his own country.

Disgusting fans, completely entitled. One season in England, what he achieved with a set of cliquey players was pretty remarkable. Good luck to him and he seemed like a completely genuine nice fella.

Just realised he's gone to Juve, and he used to manage Napoli <yikes>

Forget what I said about respect, he'll get murdered for that should he ever set foot in Naples again.

The club Naples fans hate most is Roma

They despise Juve as well. Though I imagine most Italian non-Juve fans do, similar to Liverpool.

A plaque dedicated to him at Napoli's stadium was ripped out by fans the day after he signed with Juve. They ain't happy.

I don't get what people have got against Lampard to be honest , I thought he was an excellent professional and the first time I saw him play at the KC I was genuinely surprised how technically good he was . At least he has the balls to give management a go , unlike others who just fleg on teenage girls. I hope he does well and manages England one day .

I like Lampard, as a player and when interviewed. I played against his old school in sixth form as well. I just think its far too early for him.

Despite him cutting me up in his Jag at Berkeley roundabout in Scunny, I like Frank Lampard; he cut me up and waved an apology - which was nice of him. At the time he was a young player who'd just joined Chelsea after West Ham had ****ed his old man over, he was in Scunny to see his best mucker from West Ham, Lee Hodges, who'd just signed for the Scunts.

Later the same day my son came in from an afternoon in the pub and when I said to him ''you'll never guess who cut me up at Berkeley Circle?'' He came out with ''was it Frank Lampard?'' ...... long story short, my sons regular boozer was also the watering hole of Lee Hodges and a few of the other young players, they + FL were all in there playing pool with my lad and his mates - he didn't drink, show off or come off flash in any way, a sound young guy.

One of the best individual performances ever at the KCOM and a very bright bloke, I hope does he alright (though I suspect he will indeed crash and burn at Chelsea).
