Any striker that starts pretty much every game for a club that finish near the top of their table in a 46 game season should be looking to score 30. Especially if they only play one up top.
Sanderson was never coming back here. I hope he does well at Birmingham, loads of potential.

If he goes on loan to Brum for next season, he might well be here this time next year, if we go up mate.
So why make him an offer?

Do you know the club didn't do that? As far as others have said who do get bits the club gave up on getting him back ages ago.
You are making it sound like they sat today going "**** who do we look at now?"
Lets see, you're a player with a Premier League club. You're on loan with a league 1 club and by all accounts have had a very decent season with other clubs taking notice of your performances as had happened with previous loans. The club you're at says to you here's a deal take it or leave it - what would YOU do?
He has sources inside the club so knows what actually happened, which is fair enough.

good luck to him, proved himself at our level, hopefully he will do the same at championship level...might try to keep an eye on him and if we go up, who knows.
