I saw Jimmy Krankie in Princess Square in Glasgow with her man at Xmas time. I kid you not she was wearing a big red fur hat (trying and failing to look taller) and a red cape. She reminded me of the scenes at the end of "Don't Look Now".
She looked that age in the 80's for ****s sake!!

He could have just said "I'm not guilty", his choice of words is enlightening.

Seems to me that he is troubled and feeling guilt about his behaviour from a moral point of view but making the point that he didn't commit a crime.
