Clearly the hope here is that scotch independence and it's resurgence in light of the brexit debacle will now be shunned by the masses as it former cheerleader is associated with alleged sex crimes.
This is a naive assumption.
I mean it's not as if when Jimmy Savile introduced Gary Glitter on Top of the Pops people thought "oh, I'm not going to like Gary Glitter any more because of that nasty Jimmy Savile introducing him" is it?
