I hope and pray that at the very least they manage to recover the bodies, purely for their loved ones to get the opportunity to say a proper farewell.

Just so, so sad and tragic for all parties concerned .

It's such a horrid thought that at some point there will be finger pointing and blame levelled for financial reasons and that the club will undoubtedly have to think about replacing a player who'll sadly never get to pull the shirt on

    Just devastating.

    Leicester fan in peace.

My heart goes out to all of you for Sala, R.I.P fella.

I think despite the last few years and all of the bad feeling between our fans, we all have a special connection WRT Kun Vichai, you were all class.

I just hope that you stay up so we can repay your actions at our place next season.

Best wishes to his family, the club and to you all

All fans have been phenomenal in this horrible situation, but I must say, the LCFC fans on social media have gone above and beyond. Such a classy club with tremendous fans.

I've been checking regularly, hoping that a miracle would happen and they'd be found, but unfortunately it seems as though all reasonable hope is now gone.

It can be very hard to enjoy football when something like this happens because it seems trivial by comparison and one can feel almost guilty for 'moving on'. On the other hand, it can go to show the positives of the football community that, despite our rivalries, we come together to share the grief and show our support.

I see questions are now being asked about the plane and the pilot. Inevitable I suppose. Apparently the plane was registered in the US so falls under its jurisdiction.

On a separate note, and I was thinking this way myself, the family are funding an on going search. Hopefully Nantes and Cardiff will contribute.
Perhaps a funding page so us fans could contribute. Not sure how that could be initiated. I would be happy to contribute.

Just messaged the club to see if this is something that could be coordinated officially by them.

I really hope this happens. There is enough footballers who have been vocal about the search continue so hopefully they put the money in along with Nantes putting some if not all of his transfer fee into funding it

    Mixed feelings about that Jay.
On one hand probably just confirms the inevitable.
On the other, the find does suggest that the plane might be found allowing things to come to a natural conclusion, as painful as that might be.

Following on from last night, Nantes looking to do him proud tonight.

Great tribute to Sala at Nantes last night (watched some of the game on BT sports).
They stopped the game on 9 minutes for a minutes applause. Sang his name throughout. Passed a HUGE banner with his face on around the ground, every Nantes player had the name Sala on the back of the shirt.

To top it off, a number of Cardiff fans had made the trip with the banner that was at CCS.

    Superb effort by all concerned.

This sums up agents in my view what parasites! I still don't understand why he was allowed to sort out his own travel arrangements rather than the club insist on their travel plans. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
