No, but if its ends the substance doesn't contain a banned substance he isn't 'guilty'of taking anything thats banned and the fault would then lie with the authorities and not the player.

But it ain't got that far or might not so its just conjecture.
It certainly did contain a banned substance because it shows up in the test.
If that substance should be banned or not is a completely different matter.

<laugh>

Its only a banned substance if it contains banned chemicals in its make up, as things stand now its a banned substance but might not be in the not to distant future, but you seem determined to hang him no matter the outcome.

You're like an old wild west judge Diego.<whistle>

I half agree with you there bobby, eufa should be damn sure a substance they put on a list is banned then there is no doubt. This just makes them look like what we already know fecking idiots.

Sakho should have got advice from club so only himself to blame but this does make eufa look dumb if its found out it shouldn't be on the list.

I think they only care from a France point of view personally. Blame that gill I do :bandit:

Yeah, I forgot to blame Gill. Not the professional athlete's fault for taking something he shouldn't (regardless whether it should be on there at all), it's all Unitard's fault. Works for me. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Wonder if Howard Webb is involved? :emoticon-0176-smoke

I've made my feelings clear. Rules are rules. Banned lists are compressive and you take nothing unless it's given by club doctors who monitor the lists constantly.

I'm glad he's no longer banned and I think at least there's been due process and the player found a way round it

Well said.

Has everyone else blanked that second half from their brains????

Would sahko and the techno frogs have stopped moreno jumping over the ball and letting go them waltz in......

Would sahko stop the midfield imploding.. coutinho and lallana bottling it?

Would seriously shako be better than toure...

Would sahko have stopped Mingolet glueing himself to the line?

The answers are no.

Toure was excellent in both second leg semi and the final.

The ball went over his head on 93mins in villareal away game... That's it.. no other mistakes..

Come on guys...it's nobody's fault but our own.

Woah woah woah, who are we referring to as Benteknofrogs here, which players ?1 Not Moreno even though he jumps like on, he'd never be let in clubBenteknofrog, the bouncers would turn him away for being a prick

If it's taking the authorities (and their top scientific team) weeks to figure out if its a banned substance, how the **** was Sakho suppose to know <laugh>

The letter sent to him with the full list of drugs and their commercial names might have tipped him off.

Or can't he read?

So he's taken something that's on the list provided by UEFA but UEFA are taking weeks to read the list they produced? Sounds logical mate ;)
There is no dispute it is on the list, why do you think his sample put up a flag?
The only dispute is if it should be on there which does or should not affect his decision to take it.
They are not taking weeks to read the list, they banned him for a provisional 30 days (ending tomorrow) during which time the validity of its inclusion on the list has been questioned. This will be investigated and if necessary the substance will be removed from the list in future.
Which ever way you look at it he completely ignored the list and took a banned substance.

(there is a rumour that France are fighting hard to prove it should stay on the list :bandit:)

It is only a banned substance because the international body say it is, if they have somehow(unlikely) made a mistake he actually took an allowed substance.
So how do you in those circumstances justify banning him?

In your eyes he's guilty no matter what, you are a prosecution barristers dream juror Diego.<whistle>

It is banned ergo he broke the rules, I can only go on with this for so long before I conclude you are too numb to understand :emoticon-0100-smile

Think there's only one fair solution to all this - as Sakho was unjustly banned Liverpool should gain an automatic place in the group stages of next season's CL. You know it makes sense.

Seriously, I remember when it happened that t'internet were awash with many a Uniturd, and Chavski fan dropping their two pence worth in as to how Liverpool would complain about it for 27 years until they got the decision overturned (I know: linking it to Hillsborough. Classy, eh?). Be ironic if he has been badly treated. Do Liverpool dare complain?
