#SaintsFC is the official Saints 'tag' on twitter, basically means you can type in #SaintsFC and see all the tweets which have the hashtag #SaintsFC in them, supposedly a way to connect fans and create discussion but really just a wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Saints have put hashtag Saints on seats to promote their twitter page....apparently upsets people who are cool!
Okay, aside from the way it looks.
1. Twitter's use as a marketing tool is vastly overstated.
2. You will only be able to see it if you are early to games.
3. When the stadium is shot for TV (which is also when this would be most useful) you can't fucing see it.
4. They couldn't just have put some banners up around the pitch?

If they wanted to promote the Twitter page they should have put '@southamptonfc'. This is a silly thing that 99% of the time won't even be seen.
They could have made the hash a big thicker, it looks a bit anaemic next to the bold letters, but apart from that, I don't really understand what the problem is.
Well, I don't really see why and whatever but... I'd rather "#SAINTSFC" than "FLYBE" or some other stupid sponsors name.
