As employees though, they'll be taxed through PAYE so their options are pretty limited. Incidentally, how do you know Ramirez is on £35k net?

Was what was reported at the time, and they are self employed contractors effectively so there are plenty of loopholes to get round a lot of the tax

Tello sounds like a good piece of business. Behind CB I think left or right wing/midfield is our area to strengthen. Without Lallana & Puncheon it's not up to standard with Guly & De Ridder. Rodriguez, Ramirez & Lee ( v Leeds) have all tried to fill the left hand side but its not worked out well for different reasons.
Puncheon has done brilliantly this season but if we're to survive and ultimately climb the table I think better is out there.
Will be interesting to see how much Zaha fetches if he moves this window.

Don't click the link quoted below. It will scare you to death.

Being serious, I'd not recommend it. Don't think I am lying because I'm not. See later comments.

Don't open it!

Bloody hell DTLW it's a good job I don't have epilepsy. I would now be having a fit if I had it. You had better hope no one with epilepsy opens that link!

"Image rights" is one of course, though think the taxman is cracking down on that kind of thing. Their actual salary is PAYE though I believe.

Oh i just took Pucks maths to be correct, damn it puck you let me down
Haha, my apologies. <sorry>

4 things though:
1. As others have said "net" means after tax so 38461 would be his wage after tax. The wage before tax would be MUCH higher. A few players have had their payslips leaked and they're all PAYE as far as I know
2. It's actually more like 75k per week, I used a tax calculator the first time and had the student loan box ticked! <doh>
3. If the 75k is euros then that's about £60k, which I'd say is still pretty unlikely
4. The 2m may include expected bonuses/image rights or may all be a load of balls

No worries haha

To be honest i think they just pluck nice sounding figures from the air, its always a nice round number which it probably is not. I would guess 40k max
