Stevenage are talking to Premier League side Southampton in a bid to sign striker Sam Hoskins on loan
Boro are looking to add some firepower to their attack after a recent slump in form, and Gary Smith would like to sign Hoskins until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old played eight times on loan at Rotherham United towards the end of last season, scoring twice, and he was an unused substitute when the Saints knocked Stevenage out of the League Cup earlier this season.


A good move for him. Limited opps with us.

Can see that, he was on loan somewhere similar earlier wasn't he? Did well if I remember correctly.

Young player with alot of talent and potential ... be a great move for him.
 
Gonzalo Bueno - young Uruguayan striker, same agent as Ramirez, labelled the new Recoba.

A player we were strongly rumoured to have had a bid rejected for back in August. Is now being linked with CSKA Moscow and Fiorentina.

Gent's 'Petit Pele' Mboyo is in sights of Southampton. Not too sure on this chap and he once did time for his involvement in a gang rape!!
 
Just seen on Sky Sports:

Juventus finally look poised to sign Federico Peluso after failing in an approach for the Atalanta defender last summer. Peluso is undergoing a medical with Juventus and will help to provide defensive cover for the Serie A champions.

Seems good for Astori deal?
 
And there would be no sense in bringing someone in who isn't as good as Fonte/Yoshida so naturally one of our current CBs would become decent back-up.
 
Even if we do sign Astori, which I doubt, I still want Yoshi and Fonte to be the central defensive partnership. They're solid.
