I might be being a giant drama queen, but I'm really worried about breaking up a Yoshida/Fonte partnership at the moment they are reading each other so well it seems like a massive risk breaking them up. If we get Davide in then great, but please, let's not rush him into the team. Cover for Lallana at the moment seems to be our most pressing concern.
There are always injuries...we need a new defenders for cover. Cork was brilliant today, but it meant we lost a good midfielder. We had to move Yoshida wide against Stoke. Sign Davide first and everyone will be on their toes...nothing like a spot of competition.
I'd want him to have a few weeks training under his belt at least. If Fonte/Yoshida continue to be rocks, bad luck Davide wait your turn, if things get a little bit shaky then bring him in and hopefully he can tighten things up.
Would also like to see us sign up nippy young back-ups for Lallana and Shaw, and then if after two/three more games if Boruc hasn't redeemed himself then sign up another keeper.

I know nothing about him if I'm honest, Wiki says he is a CB/LB/Winger. Though I remember on FM he was a wingback...
I've seen Udinese play a couple of times and they use a 3-5-2... Think he's normally the LWB in the 5 but I may be mistaken and he could be the LCB in the 3.
Either way, if Armero goes through and Peluso does sign for Juve, the opportunity looks to be there for us.
Nigel has already said it won't happen and I can't see Rickie agitating for a move, can you?
The Armero move is confusing, he's a wingback first and foremost and has played there every game so far this season, and he is only about 5ft 7 I believe so not exactly your traditional Italian CB, but Napoli already have a nailed-down left wingback in Armero's compatriot Juan Zuniga and I don't think he's going anywhere, so you can only assume they intend on using him at LCB, which can only be good news for us!
