Surely with it being the end of Novemeber and transfer rumours becoming more frequent its time for the winter transfer rumour thread.
1. It's not the end of November.
2. That's all.
I don't see why we can't just have a transfer thread ongoing instead of specific windows.
There's always stuff to discuss generally anyway and it would be easy to avoid if that's what you wanted.
Better than it going in a combination of here and PL thread imo.

Its my pay day today so for me its the end of the month, whats the point in filling up various threads with talk of transfers when we could just have a transfer thread. I'm pretty sure the world won't end if you open one a tad early. Or as TLL says why do we not just leave it open all year long?
Made the serious error of asking...just do it. I got fed up with telling this to workmates. They'd say they asked for time off to go to the hospital/doctor and were turned down. I said never ask....if I had an unavoidable appointment, I'd tell my boss that btw I'd be late on X because I had an appointment. They never said no or tell me to cancel. Giving your boss the option to say no and he will invariably do so....don't give them that opening.Surely with it being the end of Novemeber and transfer rumours becoming more frequent its time for the winter transfer rumour thread.

No it wouldn't....if he scored for us, he could do the tarantella naked for all I care.*

Blimey, I remember Austin Hayes. A very poignant story, and I also had no idea of his death.Anyone remember Austin Hayes from the late 70s? I didn't realise he had passed away very young, whilst still a player.
I remembered him and I just found this article on him from this summer - 30 years after his death. Sad.
