I was just about to type "youngster", but that still makes you at least 29.
Yep, turned the big 3 0 in May. In footballing terms, I'm getting towards my peak (if I were a GK).

What is rarely mentioned is that in that same season Saints beat Leeds United 2-1 at the Dell and a young Mick Channon made the England centre-back Jackie Charlton look like a mug on more than one occasion. So at the end of the season Saints got 2 points and Leeds got 2 points regardless of the results.
You have missed the point. We have had some great teams but this is the strongest squad I can remember.

I agree with Blackmore....we should go for a cup as league position only matters if you finish in the European places or are in danger of relegation. Yes, each place higher is worth money and good for pride, but another cup would be worth more.
