Good read and reinforces all the stuff that we have been told over the last few years....you know, all the stuff we half ignore because we want to get to the footie stuff. The board have kept saying they want the whole club to work...not just on the pitch (though that obviously is the most important). So it isn't just down to luck that we survive major changes. Never want to sell Leicester's huge achievement short, but they face another test in the next few seasons.
 
There is talk over here, that Ralph Kruger, is a dark horse candidate to take over, as head coach for the Calgary Flames NHL hockey team. He was previously Edmonton Oilers head coach. I can't see it happening myself.

Interesting and understandable. But don't underestimate Leicester next season. Their climb has been stellar, and it has been that which has been the cause of the lack of mature systems. How does a club cope with an expectation which changes from black to white in the space of 12 months. How can a club mature from being PL cannon fodder to being one of the cannons in so short a time and maintain it? Even Saints would be stretched to handle it. However, I read that everybody is staying, and why shouldn't they.? Only a fool would leave that scene for at least the next season. As for stopping them from being successful again, perhaps only the weight of European competition will see them undone, unless their recruitment is superb. Ranieri has pointed out, he doesn't want stars, he's wants players who'll fit. Recognise anything there, by the way.? And for a club in their situation, they'll be able to pick and choose who they get. As for oppositions stopping Leicester in individual matches, as WHU's Slavan Billic observed in a recent League managers meeting, when informed on how to do it, he said... everyone already knows how to stop Leicester City. But they don't do it.

And as everything flows from what happens on the pitch, I think Leicester are in a very pretty situation for the future. Not by accident have they jumped to the head of the queue of middle-sized clubs. In my opinion, their value is going to soar and, if they play it right and get the right systems in place, their success is going to continue. Don't underestimate them again.

The owners had this club for 5 or 6 years? They probably had a similar 5 year plan to us and may just have been better for not executing the first part (promotion to the Premier League) so quickly.

Indeed. We'll eventually see how well they manage success. They have an almighty springboard for securing the next step. Something that perhaps Saints could have enjoyed if they had remained in the top 4 last season. However, steady-as-she-goes progress is OK providing we continue to move forward.
