Quality technical player. I'll always remember that goal at home, where the ball was crossed at pace and it died after his first touch in the perfect position to be slammed into the net. Then he ran off to be engulfed by Osvaldo, of all players. 
I wouldn't begrudge him at all. I'll miss him. Massively underrated player.
Just imagine what they'd have said if Shane had played up front with David Speedie....

Saints said to be looking at Austrian winger Guido Burgstaller (what a wonderful name). Signed a 3 year deal at Cardiff, but left by mutual consent after playing only 3 games....love to know what that was about though some suggest it was a money saving decision.
